This course is Part One of a three part course designed to prepare the Allied Health Professional, working in an EP lab, for the RCES certification exam. Upon successful completion of Foundation Part A, participants will be awarded 9.26 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. In order to successfully complete the course, all assignments must be completed and a minimum average of 70% on the assessments achieved. You will be given multiple attempts to achieve the minimum 70% score on practice questions. The following topics are covered in the Foundation Part A course: Anatomy, Conduction System, Action Potential, ECG, Equipment, Sterile Technique, Patient Assessment and Monitoring, Pharmacology, Radiology and Imaging, Medical Legal, Clinical Trials, Catheter Positioning, and Intracardiac Electrograms.
