This course is Part One of a three-part course designed to prepare the allied health professional, working in the Cath Lab, for the RCIS certification exam. Upon successful completion of CV Part A Basics participants will be awarded 9.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits TM. In order to successfully complete the course, all assignments must be completed and a minimum score of 75% on the assessments achieved. The following topics are covered in the CV Part A Basics course: CV Anatomy and Physiology, CV Right Heart Catheterization, CV Coronary Angiography, CV Pharmacology, CV Contrast Media and Radiation Safety, and CV Patient Assessment.
